Being the daughter of Hardworking farmers, working in the North of England, I was always surrounded by food.  My parents showed me that working hard is the key to success and I continue to work hard in memory to them both. 

I started my journey in the kitchen at the tender age of 18.  I trained as a Chef and was lucky enough to travel the world with work,  working in some very well known kitchens, including the Savoy in London.  I made some incredible memories and long life friends.  I did however take some time out to start and raise my own family (Twin daughters).  They are now grown up and ready to start their own journey at University.  I couldn't be more proud of them both. 

 

I decided after a few different job roles that I'm at my happiest when I am cooking and so I have returned to the kitchen (Not that you ever leave as a parent)!  This is my time now,  to draw on everything I have learnt over my career so far and share with you my passion for food &  love for people

I have spent all of my adult working life working in the public sector.  Great fun and life shaping but it didn't excite me.  I love food, chatting with people, socialising and I'm not too bad in the kitchen either,  so it seemed silly not to try and combine all of those things into a job! 

 

Julie and I have a fab time working together.  We have grown a small but perfectly formed team around us, which we will continue to build on and grow.  

 

I'm excited going forward.

We have a small but perfectly formed team around us that help us to achieve all the things that we have wanted to so far, they continue to support us to help us achieve our future goals.  Without this special team FF would not be as successful as it is.

 

They are a dynamic bunch ...Well most of the time!

All with the highest of integrity and trust.  Nothing is a problem to them.  They come to work with a smile and always strive to do their best for the team and all of our customers, in the Eatery or out at events.
